FIXED will charge a small fee to schedule your appointment. This is so that FIXED can prioritize customers truly needing immediate services. If you move forward with the estimate, the diagnostic fee is credited toward the cost of your service.

Why does FIXED charge me a fee up front?
Most contractors skip small jobs under 4 hours. FIXED fills that gap. The fee ensures serious bookings, covers your vetted tech’s visit, and lets them diagnose and often complete the job on the spot.

What is the process like after booking an appointment?
Once you schedule your appointment, FIXED will reach out to you and ask a few questions to help your technician be as prepared as possible on the day of your service. If you approve the estimate, your FIXED technician will be prepared to do your service on the day of your appointment.

When will my technician arrive?
You will receive real-time updates, notifying you when your technician will arrive.
The FIXED technician will come to your home in a branded FIXED vehicle and be dressed professionally in FIXED clothing.

How soon will service begin?
Your FIXED technician will provide you with a digital estimate after service diagnosis. If you wish to proceed, you will simply sign the estimate. FIXED’s goal is to complete your service IMMEDIATELY while in your home.

Does FIXED offer a satisfaction guarantee?
Once the work is completed and you are satisfied, all digital paperwork will be added to your account and you will have the opportunity to rate your technician and review your service. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED!

How does FIXED vet its handymen technicians? How do I know it is safe?
FIXED goes through a formal vetting process with all technicians to ensure safety and professionalism. This includes but is not limited to a two-interview phases, references, an aptitude test, a third party background check, and required training and certifications.

Absolutely! If you move forward with the estimate, the reservation fee is credited toward the cost of your service.

Is Klarna available for all services at Fixed?
Klarna can be used for most handyman services offered on our website (excluding specials on our specials page) and you can also use Klarna for Stripe for the Best Value Membership ONLY. (Billed annually at $35/month)
